Mental Health Campaign

Things are not always as they seem

D&E Air Conditioning values the minds of their employees and we promote a culture of acceptance, understanding and support for our co-workers.

It is perfectly normal that through various stages of life people experience minor to major mental health issues, D&E aim to take the stigma out of mental health conditions; if a D&E employee is experiencing a mental health issue we would like them to be able to talk to someone they trust without judgement and ultimately be able to feel that they are part of a culture of acceptance, understanding and support.

There are ways and means to get help if that sinking, isolated feeling is getting too much, D&E Air Conditioning promotes the following services:

D&E Employee Assistance Program

In association with Trauma Centre of Australia (a group of Organisational Psychologists) our Employee Assistance Program is available to all D&E Staff and their families:

  • Counselling and general support
  • Confidential service
  • 24-hour support available

Remember it’s OK to ask for help.

Our Employee Assistance Program is available and absolutely free, regardless of whether or not you have been involved in a critical incident or trauma situation at work. Counselling services are available for:

  • Relationship and family problems
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Substance abuse
  • Workplace issues
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma Management

Talking to others is a great way to de-stress.

D&E have other alternatives that include Heath Black at BlackAshSolutions who we engage to educate our staff on raising mental health awareness. Heath is also available to speak one-on-one should any employee need further assistance.

Incolink Member Services Department Counselling & Support is free, safe and confidential for those who are members of Incolink.
